Hawaiian pendants come in all shapes and sizes. A popular choice amongst the locals is the “slipper” design. A representation of Hawaii’s laid back lifestyle the slipper embodies all the relaxed life on the islands. Or select on of our unique petroglyph designs which have a primitive unique look in each design as if it were taken from cave drawings and replicated. Another local favorite is the “fish hook” and “warrior helmet” designs.
What’s Up Hawaii features local upcoming events for all the islands. Check back monthly for added events and new month’s features. Brought to you by Shaka Time.

Summer is my favorite time of year. It doesn’t matter that I live in paradise and the weather is near perfect all year long, I still count the months off until summer returns. Why do I like summer so much? Because it’s filled with so much fun. Who doesn’t reminisce about the summers spent running through an open field, building sand castles on the beach, and sleeping in on a breezy afternoon. Here are a few of my favorite summer memories.
Have you tried Pasteles? It is so delicious and a favorite during Christmas time in Hawaii. Try it out and tell us what you think.
